Russian experts sometimes use the name "Vorobyovite," given after the Russian geologist and scientist V.I. Vorobyov.

Natural morganite is more characteristic, not bright pink, but a pleasant peach hue, giving it lithium, cesium, and manganese impurities. The increased content of these metals determines a higher coefficient of density than that of other representatives of the beryl family. Other parameters of morganites are identical to those of beryls.
