Demantoid with horse tail like inclusion1.96 ct, Ural Mountains  ID 1537

The Ural demantoid weighing 1.96 carats has a good dispersion, the stone shows the play of light with bright yellow flashes. Under a platform of demantoid with the naked eye can be seen the dark crystal of magnetite, from which come the thread "horse tail". The "tail" is located directly under the site of the demantoid. This mineral inclusion is characteristic only of the demantoids from the Ural deposits.
