Description

The pride of the ruby collection of Ilya Podnebesny is a stone, in which a unique color deserves special attention, which received a special assessment in GRS - “Vibrant” (glowing from the inside). “Pigeon’s blood” color is a fairly wide range of colors, only less than 5% of “Pigeon’s blood” rubies fall within the reference midpoints of this range. In such stones, the concentration of pure scarlet color without admixture of dark red and pink shades is maximum. Among these 5%, less than 10% exceed the weight of 5 carats, and among these stones only a few samples can claim the color type “Vibrant”.

GRS Brilliancy-type “Vibrant” is a complex characteristic, which evaluates the approach to the cutting of a stone, its color, clarity, and as a result of the combination of the highest indicators of these three parameters, an internal glow appears in the stone, the level of play becomes as high as possible.
The investment potential of this ruby is also supported by the lack of refinement, weighing over 7 carats and the most prestigious documentation from the GRS Platinum Rarity Award - the status of the stone “Magnificent” (especially rare, worthy of royal collections).
